Mission Statement
LiFEBoat Services, based in Astoria, OR, supports its programs Filling Empty Bellies (FEBs) and
Beacon Clubhouse. FEBs works to alleviate the burden of houselessness and poverty by meeting the
basic needs of those suffering. Beacon Clubhouse provides non-clinical mental health support and
advocacy for adults navigating mental illness.

Filling Empty Bellies
Filling Empty Bellies mission is to help feed and provide services to the houseless and hungry of Astoria Oregon. We are also working towards emergency shelter to complete our Navigation Center at 1040 Commercial Street.
SMART Recovery
LiFEBoat Services is extremely happy to announce that Oz is facilitating SMART (Self Management & Recovery Training) meetings every week - onsite here at LiFEBoat on Tuesdays at 5PM
"SMART was created for people seeking a self-empowering way to overcome addictive problems. What has emerged is an accessible method of recovery, one grounded in science and proven by more than a quarter-century of experience teaching practical tools that encourage lasting change."
This program is near and dear to Oz, as it assisted him in his own recovery journey. We are excited to offer the communtiy a secondary recovery option to AA in a nonclinical environment.

Beacon ClubHouse
Beacon Clubhouse offers an inclusive, safe and restorative environment for adults navigating mental health. Beacon Clubhouse is a non-clinical membership-based, peer-run program that values each member equally. Our goal is to empower members with access to: creative spaces, skill-building, self development, supportive socialization, advocacy, and education through an established purpose driven day. Beacon Clubhouse engages members in every aspect of its operation, including leadership. Participation is voluntary and adapted to support each individual's gifts and capacities.
